Need a IWB for 1911

I'll be able to get my CCL soon, so I need a good IWB holster for my gun. My gun is a full sized 1911, so I need the holster to support the weight of the gun well (will also get a really good belt), and make it easier to conceal. Any suggestions?

I've hear these are nice. Anyone use them?

I use this one, not used the cossbreed but those I know that do seem happy with them.

texaswoodworker, If you go for any type of IWB holster for your 1911 I have a couple tips. Make sure you can adjust the cant of the holster. Strongly consider getting the "J" hooks instead of the spring clips.

I have the KingTuk for my 1911 and I find it very comfortable.

The King Tuk is a very nice holster, I bought one for my son and he loves it. I have carried for many years, and quit comfortably, in a holster made by Winthrop. The Winthrop holster has held up very well and as I remember, it was very moderately priced.

Something like the KingTuck is nice if you want to carry under a tucked shirt but if you go 'untucked' like me there are many other options. My personal favorite is the "Summer Special" style holster. It's a leather, rough out IWB holster, usually with a pair of belt straps.

The original was created by Mitch Rosen but his holsters are expensive and there's often a waiting list. There are however many other quality holster makers selling similar holsters these days.

I have a White Hat Holster IWB. Adjustable cant. Carry a 1911 series 70, shirt out. Comfortable and no printing.

If nothing else, compare their prices to that of Crossbreed, especially if you want horsehide.

I carry my SR1911 in a N82 pro tactical holster. That's the only holster I'll buy for IWB. I have one for my G35 too. They are sooooo comfortable.
