Default The Nazi Helmet - How They Were Made and a Great Specimen of an Original

Hey guys, thought I'd show my Wehrmacht helmet, a M42 model, and I found a great old German newsreel to go along with it, showing how they made them. Also added some explanatory detail:

$450, but you can get a reproduction for a LOT less. I just had to have it though.

They're only worth $450 to me if they've been pierced by a .45 or .30-06

Please don't call them NAZI helmets...my great grandfather was a GERMAN soldier...not a NAZI. He was just doing his duty like the American boys.

It's called a stahlhelm

Hate to break it to you, but research has proven that German soldiers were very well aware of what was going on and were committed to the Nazi agenda.

Well good for you. A .45ACP round would not pierce the helmet but would give the guy a concussion.

.30-06 went through them like butter.

Not every German foot soldier was SS and anti-semitic....That's like saying every soldier (including draftees) who fought in Vietnam fervently believed that we had to be there to defeat Communism.
