I got a surefire 6P light 2 weeks ago, and well it sure doesn't fire. iIt worked for a couple of days then stopped working. I took it apart and I think a contact is broke or something. Is this normal. Does anyone know a better light or should I just stick with the replacement?

Definitely stick with the Surefire, they will replace it. It is a quality product, but like everything there will be the one in a million that is defective.

Yeah you were right, Hillbilly! I took back my Surefire to the shop and they said a lead on the bulb cracked. They said it was covered under their warranty, so no charge. It works great now, thanks.

I've carried my SureFire 6P everyday on duty for over 5 years and I have nothing but great things to say about them. It's suffered all types of abuse and keeps working (Much better than my issue MagLight). Can't wait to buy the new 6P LED.
