I like to keep my gear as light as possible so its easier to maneuver in and out of the prone when needed, weapon lays flat and out of the way if hand work is required as well as dismounting/mounting from a vehicle. I Need to rig up a dump pouch and my tomahawk somehow other wise I'm about done.

My BN is slotted to go to Afghanistan in 2012 so i'm mirroring it to be as close as possible to my body armor and kit also planing for the SHTF scenario, nothing sinister I assure you. Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance
