I'm a skilled machinist, and am more than willing to leave my current employer. There is a ready industrial park near me, waiting for a business to call it home. Honestly, I'm hoping these businesses move to make their point more than give me an option for employment.

I expect they will wait to see what congress does. Congress will not go for a semi-auto ban. Congress will offer the old Clinton cure of banning the manufacture of large capacity mags.
If federal law only allows say 15 round magazines why would they move? I expect the Colorado Dems are planing on this to pass the state law and keep the jobs in their state.
As for magazines there are tons in the country. They are not traceable. South America is awash in these Mags. Look for these to come over the border in back packs.

I think that they will have to.

1) There was too much publicity surrounding their ultimatum to the state.
2) The current sentiment of their target demographic is positive as a result of their stand.
3) That sentiment would turn negative overnight if they reneged.
Indiana will welcome them with open arms.

Private citizens don't always appreciate it when private companies make promises and don't keep them, especially when those promises are so aligned with their customer base's own sentiments.

I think they've painted themselves into a corner, so to speak. I don't think they have much choice. Either move, or lose a huge number of loyal customers.

Seems that way. I think they'd rather take a hit due to the cost of moving and the loss of production during the move than loose a lot of customers. It may hurt in the short term, but it the long term, it would pay off. Possibly BIG time.

On the other hand, they may not want to move because it would cost a lot of people their jobs. Their workers would either have to move with them, or find new jobs.

Piss off x hundreds of workers or piss off x thousands of paying customers, I know which way I'd go.

I think they will have to move. The bill is so poorly and broadly worded that the employees would actually be in violation just by packaging the magazines for shipment. No doubt relocating will cost millions, but the could easily rack up the same bill in legal fees alone. I don't blame them for leaving, but I'm sad to see them go.

I hope they do move, and I plan to try to buy more of their products if they do. We should try to support common sense.
