If you can only own 5 weapons for zombie attack or shtf what would they be and why?
First gun would be ruger 10/22 because 22 is cheap and used everywere my sidearm, would be a glock 19 because you cant put glock 17 mags in a glock 19 i can also hide it if i had to and almost everyone has a glock so getting parts would be easy then id get a mossberg 500 beacuse it is a multiporpose tool and a military workhorse then i would get an ak because i wouldnt need to clean it as much as an ar and less parts to break then id get a remington 700 for very long range combat id be able to hide in a tree while i pick off zombies these would be my 5 go to guns what about you?

i have and would probably be good enough for shtf a mossberg 500 with a 20 inch cylinder bore barrel 7 shot mag also have a 5 shot mag for it and a 24 inch riffled barrel and a 24 inch acue choke barrel a mosin nagant a ruger sp9 and a Taurus millennium 9mm and plenty of ammo to back it up of course if shtf their are many other factors i would worry about then guns ie i could have thousands of guns but what am i to do against a large grope of people my biggest concern would be getting away from roads and easily traveled paths which would mean ditching my house so that has me covered long range short range and hunting

1st. My Ruger SR 556E ar-15 piston gun cycles steel cases ammo everytime and steel cases ammo is cheap
2nd. My marlin 336c in 35 Remington lever action
Holds 7 rds and has a lot of knock down power
3rd. Ruger 10/22 with 30rd mag very reliable 22lr is very abundant
4th. Pump action 12 ga shot gun doesn't matter what brand as long as it works
5th. Beretta 90 or whatever it is 9mm with 15 rd mag for last line of defense
And a **** ton of ammo to accompany them all!

I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.
