Help me w/ my dream grips!!

So the grips I've dreamt of for my Colt 1911 GCT came loooong before I ever got the gun. I've seen them here & there but the real thing is very few & far between. But come hell or high water, I must find a way to get my dream Abalone grips

And I mean true Abalone, with colors like this:
(See attachments)

I realize in all likelihood, this will be a custom job, and I found a site with great Abalone of all different shapes & sizes.

Does anyone know of a person(s) that specializes in this? Even who already has what I'm looking for?

Thanks SO much for any leads

Mahalo,
Laura

I imagine those are gonna be pricey.

Not too concerned w/ the price (at this moment, at least) since 1) let's consider the price of the gun, itself. I'm not saying the grips MUST be expensive (I always prefer otherwise), but I also want only 1 pair of grips I am crazy about. Basically, I'm not gonna dump manure on a diamond hahaha 2) the prices I've found on the raw abalone aren't bad, so it's a matter of who charges what for labor.

(Obviously kidding about "manure on a diamond" part, there's a number of VZ grips, and some gorgeous pewter ones I'd be thrilled with if this doesn't work out)

Thanks for the help guys, whether it comes to fruition or not, I really appreciate it.

On here: http://www.handicraft-vn.com/shop/guitar-accessories-abalone-raw-shell-c-139_189.html is a really nice selection of Abalone of all kinds of shapes & sizes. I bookmarked a few others, but this stood out.

I have links to more than substantial amounts of Abalone with which to make the grips, and I know it has been done in the past...so it's not a matter of plausibility, just someone who knows how to work w/ it, and knows what they're doing, ya know?

Thanks again, though! Keep it coming :)
