Default Crimson Trace Laser Sights.

My new compact S&W M&P 9mm has a tactical rail that is too short to lock in my tactical light/laser sight. It slides on firmly but does not lock on. I am afraid to shoot the gun in this situation, fearing a loss of the light as it flies off the rail.

I have heard about these Crimson Trace grip laser sights. They appear to be easily added to my gun and would solve my immediate problem but I wonder about others experience with the product.

Any advice, pro or con? If pro, any advice on the best price available on the product? If con, any advice on competing products?

Thanks in advance for your help with my problem.

Or you could get a light and a laser for less.

I picked up a Taurus 650 not long ago that came with Crimson Trace grips. The price was great and I was shopping for my wife and I wanted something that offered a true point and shoot option. I've found this set up works well for her. She said she felt like she was cheating with the laser to which I responded, in self defense there is no such thing as cheating. She spends most of the time practicing with the factory sights and usually ends the day with a couple of cylinders using the laser.

As far as the grip itself, it is well constructed, fits well, I don't beat my guns but it appears as though it would be durable. All in all I would say it's a quality product.

I have Crimson Trace grip laser on a Glock 30 and love it. No holstering problems or anything...

Crimson Trace is a great product, allows the best option in self defense...
Point & Shoot.
My wife has a set on her J frame .38spl +P revolver.
I'm wanting to get some for my main carry gun.
I don't think you can get a better product than Crimson Trace.
