Default Chest rig for a fat guy

I'm in need of a chest rig that can carry AR-15 magazines, but I'm about 6 feet/300 pounds.

Any suggestions on what I should get?

Wow, so the first guy out of the gate is a douche.
Thought you'd have something more constructive to say.

Anyway, how many mags are you looking to pack?

The best thing I can think of is get a sling pouch it carries six and just is slung over you like a shoulder bag.

Indeed, I concur. Double-crossed slinged, you could carry up to 12-14 depending on the sling pouch and they would not interfere with your rifle sling support transitions.

There are several makers of reliable tach vests out there that will fit you, but comfort of fit and some restrictive movement may come into play based on your weight distribution, and required movement positions.

Being a big guy myself i know its hard to find gear that will fit properly. Some times you can have stuff made for you. While it is a little bit more expensive if you shop around in your area im sure you could find somebody that could help you come up with something. If your looking at leather im sure there is a local leather smith some where around you. and if your talking a tac-vest you can always get the biggest size you can find and have a seamstress add more fabric to the sides to make it fit around you a little better. Just my thoughts good luck
