Buy another one if you want a modified AR.

I was once told that to go from an A2 stock to an adjustable stock a buffer tube kit is needed because the A2 tube doesn't have the ridge that keeps the stock from flipping over. Basically its just a slick tube. Course I could be wrong.

Yes u are right. Make sure u get both mil-spec on the tube and stock.
