Anyone buy an aftermarket barrel for their glock? If so why? what kind was it? Price?

I own two Storm Lakes for my G-32, a 9mm and a .40 S&W. I bought them several years ago for $99 each. I would recommend them.

Do you shoot reloads out of them? If so lead or fmj?

I have not shot reloads or lead out of them but there is no reason why I couldn't. I just started reloading this month. As a matter of fact I finished my first batch of 38 Special today.
As you probably know, Glock does not advise that you shoot lead bullets through their barrels because of the Poly type of rifling. They also do not want you to shoot reloads which is of course a CYA. Since the after market barrels use conventional rifling it is not an issue to shoot unjacketed rounds.

I like Lone Wolf , They have factory polished feed ramp , full case support , tighter tolerances than stock , but not so tight a tolerance like KKM where reliability comes into question. I read a write up where the lug sheared off a storm lake , the guy got a replacement from factory and that lug sheared off as well . Could it have been one off glitch in that round of production? sure but it was enough to keep me from buying one. BTW Not saying Storm Lake arn't good barrels .
