Default 5.56 x 45mm changing color?
I have several boxes of American Eagle 5.56 x 45mm ammunition that I bought about 2 years ago. I recently noticed that the top 1/3 of the casing is starting to change colors. It is has a bit of a whitish hue. Is this normal? Are they still safe to fire?

The cases are prolly heat treated, its most likely oxidation. Post a picture of one if you can.

That is not changing color- the case was annealed (heated and cooled) to improve the workability of the brass. It's normal.
