Default 460xvr custom holster

Okay, so since I bought my S&W 460xvr I have been thinking about what kind of holster to get. I wanted one that I could wear on my side, could accommodate a scope, leave my bipod on if need be, and not have to lift my arm over my head to try and draw it. I came up with my own design, and spoke with my buddy Steve down at Lazy S custom leather in Mount Washington, Ky. to see if he could pull it off! After much discussion, he had it ready for me in a week! Let me know what you think, i couldnt be happier with how it turned out!

There is a review of his holsters on youtube, just search for Lazy S!

A little bit late...

That's a nice set up there, and custom made is hard to beat if it is as high quality as it appears. I'm wondering how easy it is to draw from, and is it too long to walk with comfortably?

Better late than never! Lol
The holster is really heavy duty, excellent quality! This guy does great work, I have to other holsters by him also and looking to get one made for my super blackhawk 44 with the 10.5" barrel!
Walking is no issue, just getting use to the feel is all. Does not hinder in any way. I added a couple pics to try and demonstrate drawing, only need to pull up a couple inches and its out! Let me know what ya think!

Looks good. I'm on the phone app, so I can only see so much with the smaller screen. I didn't realize it was open in the front. That would make it easier to draw, vs. pulling it out the top like I pictured. Carry on!

That's a great looking holster. Looks kinds like a mares leg holster I've seen. That's a great idea to use the retention strap to hold it in and leave the side open for a scope. I'm about to do one for a 10.5 inch sbh as well if he is going to scope the gun I'll probably go somewhere along this route.
