100 rds drum mags.

Hey guys, how manyof you have a 100 rds. drum mag that is not a Beta-C mag? My wife has found 2 or 3 places on the web that are selling 100 rds drum mags for $119.99. That's right guy a $119.99 and not $225 or higher for the Beta-C mags. I seen one of the mags is made in South Korea and I will have to see where the other mag is made at. I hope to get my new 100 rds. mag for my birthday this week if it comes in. ;-)

I've done more than a bit ofresearch on this and the consensus is stay away from the cheap asian cmag clones. A consistant trend with the clones seems to be the magnetic followers jamming in the bolt last round.

You get what you pay for when it comes to this kind of thing.

Jeez, if I used a 100 rd mag, I'd go broke buying ammo. 30 rounders are bad enough.

Hey Car54, you need to go shooting with me I was shooting in USPSA 3 gun matches with the AR. We tried to set up at least one stage of fire that you could use 3, 30 rds mags in a stage. LOL Love shooting my AR :D

Shouldnt be an issue for ya then if your willing to restrict it to range and plinking use only.

I have one of the Chinese 120rd AR mags, and it works fine as long as you do not over tension the spring when winding it up. Similar design to the 75rd drums for the AKs.
