Default WWII Colt

At a local pawn and gun shop, there was a 1944 Colt 1911. Price tag: $2800.

Is that high, or pretty resonable?

Something I learned a long time ago when asked what something is worth - what somebody will pay for it.

Seriously, it's hard to judge the price without lots of other info and lots of pictures. It could be a steal or it could be a bust at that price...

For $2800. I'd want it essentially new in the box. Also, which manufacturer is it? Some are more rare than others.

Hi Cane
Old guns like this are being Deactivated because they are illegal in UK. We should form a group to repatriate them to US
