If he's a good gunsmith, then $300 is a great price IF you want a basic 1911.

As for the Dremel comment. My logic is: $300 is cheap for any functional 1911. I see near $100 in parts in that pic (slide release, beavertail, hammer, etc.). Alarms go off when I see something to cheap...

yeah i mean this 1911 would pretty much be kept as my vehicle gun, i would hate for one of the more expensive guns to get stolen, not that i want this one stolen either lol but it would make me throw up less, and thanks for the review jack

list price for a new 1911 firestorm is was $324.95 in 2005 so i would look into the price first.

if you decide not to get it let me know...i'm always lookin to pick up more 1911's esp after i had to sell one of mine to make money for the ar-15 parts i had to get lol thankfully i still had 2 more 1911's lol
