Wishing for adjustment!
So some of you have seen the Para Ordinance 1911 black ops edition that I recently acquired (luckily). Well I've taken it to the range and at 5 and 3 yards I love the Trijicon day/night sights that came with it. Move out to 15 yards and i will be darned it shoots 1 to 1.5 feet low. I really dislike having to aim hi at that yardage. Anyways that is my rant.

I had a Para P10-45. It was the sub compact 1911. It had similar sights on it. Mine shot about a foot low at 15 yards. I had to file the front sight down to almost nothing to get it on target. I had planned to get an adjustable set. But I ended up trading it for something else anyway.

Get the micrometer out and measure the difference between old and new.
The night sights you have may not be set up for a 6 o'clock hold. Some require that the front sight cover the center of mass (approx 1" above the bulls-eye).

Possible, but at 15 yards, it should not be that much on ammo alone.
Night sights are to get one near the target, but my experience, they are not the best in bulls-eye.

The sights on it came with it. Could be user error but I've had multiple people shoot it with similar results. I am going to try to contact Trijicon and see if they make a taller rear sight or a shorter front. Not blaming the gun or the sights folks. I would just like to make the gun shoot right for me.
