Default Wilson elite tactical mags
Just bought a couple they look nice are they pretty good mags ? I got the 8 round 45acp etm base pad.

I have only used factory mags so far (in both my SA and my EB) and have gotten fine results so far - a bunch of folks swear by Wilson ETM's though....
What I want to know is how you like the Tripp Cobra's that you recently ordered? I think I remember from a past thread that you said you ordered 1-8 rounder & 1-7 rounder of the Tripps....

When you get your Cobra mags from Tripp put the two side by side and tell me Bill Wilson builds a mag anywhere near the quality of Virgil Tripps!

I did order 1 Tripp 7 rounder but have not got it in the mail yet

Okay, let me get this straight.

You bought some mags and now want to know if they are good.
I would ask if they are good before I purchase them. Am I doing something backwards?

I know they will work DA I just thought I would get some feedback from those using them and yes I will probably buy several different brands of magazines that I have not used before. You may ask why? My answer is because I can.

Got the Tripp in the mail today and it looks really well made but so does the Wilson's I can't say one looks better built than the other but I do like the finish on the Wilson's better.

Notice the fluid stampings of the Tripp mag on the left and right. The .45 case head sits square against the back wall of the Tripp mag, the Wilson is rounded and forces the round forward when it presents for stripping. AND, the Tripp mag feed lips are CNC finished.
