I can't believe that nobody has mentioned the sweet sound of racking the 1911 slide!

There is no difference. Neither has a "Safety".

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Exactly you can't polish a Glock made of plastic as it's not metal. Thanks for pointing out that Glocks are TURDS. LOL You said it I didn't.

Good way to word smith that one. You must work for the government. Way to jump in with an excellent comment. You must wait by this sign, don't you?

The glock has a ways to go before it can walk in the footsteps of the 1911

Pa-pa 1911 has to put grandson glock in his back pocket and feed him farts until he is old enough to eat sh!t.

One day glock...........one day

perfect analogy for the 1911 the old tired grandpa, dreaming of days gone by soon to be locked away in the retirement village also known as the safe.

No I would fire at least 90% of all govt. employees in a heart beat. I'm getting old and when I grew up guns were a sense of pride in how they looked. Guns were steel and wood for the most part. Own lots and I mean lots of guns and when I pull out a revolver or 1911 I get lots of OOOOHS and AHHHS. Had a couple of them for Glock from young punks but nobody else. Guns for the most part are pretty to me. Something that looks like a Karh, SA, Taurus, or a painted piece of 2x4 that you cannot tell the difference between models turns me off. I own some plastic guns and if you love them the more power to you. Buy 100 and I will shoot them if you let me. Any gun that goes BANG when you squeeze the trigger is fun to shoot. We all have different tastes in women, cars , guns etc.......... But a glock TO ME is like sleeping with a fat gal. I like pretty women LOL
