I don't know about everyone else but I am really interested in seeing that RRA polymer based 1911. I love my RRA AR-15. They make awesome weapons. Are they available to anyone yet? Has anybody seen one? They look nice! Also, I am a Kimber and Springfield fan. I know a lot of people don't like Kimbers but my custom TLE II decked out is awesome and has never failed me. It is a nail driver everyday of the week.

I would like to check it out as well. I think it's an interesting take on an old classic. RRA is about 30 mins away so maybe I'll have to stop in and take a peak if they let me.

Ithica, Colt, Ruger, Remington, Kimber, Springfield, Sig, Wilson Combat, Dan Wesson, Les Baer, Ed Brown, Rock Island Armory, High Standard, and S&W just to name a few.

You will never get one answer that everyone agrees on. Thats just not possible. All of the brands listed above make a fine gun (with rock island and high standard being the lowest priced, but really well made). You can not go wrong with one of these guns.

WTF? Did someone leave a Glock and a 1911 alone together for a little too long? Either this will be a good thing, or a good reason to whoop somebodies ass.

Well I have only had the pleasure of shooting one 1911 and that was a custom built Kimber. It had a match grade trigger along with several other features and it was by far the best pistol I have shot. Again, I can't say Kimber is the best but I will say I definitely like them.

Off the shelf? Custom? Semi custom?
Low end? Mid range? Typical high end? Money is no object ("Here's a pile of money, call if you need more.")?
Carry? GI style? All around use? Bullseye? Full tilt race gun? Coolest looking? BBQ use only?

Depending on what questions are being asked, the answer will change.
FWIW, I own 2 DWs, a SA, & a Colt. I make no claim that any are the "best." But they are all damn good, IMHO.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Not a super fan of NH. I think you get as good or better gun for less money with some of the others I mentioned.

I'm working on it. They are a little secretive over there and don't like to let a many people running around the shop I figured with your knowledge you had some sort of crystal ball or something.
