Default what is your favorite carry gun?

I am hoping that IL will one day soon pass the law and would like to be as comfortable as possible with whatever I decide on carrying. Leaning towards a 1911 as I am a better shot with them.

Ed Brown Special Forces 5" 1911. Or G32 Glock in 357 SIG. But it is what floats your boat that really matters. Have fun on the hunt.

A 1911 at all times. I don't like changing platforms. In a stressful situation it might get you killed.

Springfield XD45C, Sig P-226/229 9mm, RIA 1911A1CS depending on where I am going and what I am wearing. Plus I always carry my S&W Bodyguard and or my Taurus Model 85 in .38 Special.

I live in Illinois so I cannot carry but I'm already practicing around the house and property with my Sig P238.

I practice with snap caps and carry in a Remora holster.
