Most of the time it would pick up the round, but not shove it all the way into the chamber. I would have to shove the slide closed the rest of the way. This would happen on the last round of every other mag or so. Again though, ever since the 300 round mark, it hasnt had a single hiccup.

Dont get me wrong, I dont dislike Colt, I think Colts are awesome. I just think the Kimber is a little more awesome .

You did fine with the limber. I really liked my pro carry two, but the little paperclip to take it down bugged the crap out of me. I ended up with another limber. This time all steel and full size.
Enjoy your new toy.

Limber? I don't get the joke. I know the L is next to the K.

I do agree. I just took it down yesterday and the process was a bit weird. But the barrel and recoil system all look really high-quality. The barrel lock-up is really tight. At least the take-down tool could be replaced with a household product (a paper clip) if the real one is ever lost.

That's funny, Goju! Your full-size steel has a great Roguard finish! And your Kimber came with great mojo, too! I'm hoping to treat this gun right over long enough time that it feels a part of the family.

Nice looking 45, Chris! Don't know much about Kimber but I'd expect it to pass Cane's test and work out for you. And I think you were wise to go with blue steel over SS or alloys.

Hey Colt has blue 45s!
