What time is it? Almost Colt time!
Well, my Springfield Loaded never really made it into my heart.
At the range, I could never quite trust it to keep from failing to load. Rounds kept getting stuck on the feed ramp. Well, the guy who sold it to me (to make a mortgage payment) wants it back. It is almost sold.
Then I will immediately go down to my favorite local gun shop, Keith's Sporting Goods, and buy a Colt Lightweight Commander XSE. They have one for $899. I think that's pretty smokin'! I can't wait.
I probably won't carry it very often, but I want to be able to comfortably fire it one-handed for those times I will be wielding a flashlight in the other hand.
And it's a COLT!!!! I can't wait...I think I already said that, though.
I'll post a photo of my new Colt when I finally buy it.

I don't know enough 'bout the .38 super to slam it. But I don't really understand why people would utilize a platform that is large enough for the .45, but choose to use a smaller round. To get a thinner, smaller pistol, sure, go for something in the 9mm diameter family of calibers (I have 2 of 'em).
For me...45acp all the way. The moment I get home with it I'll post pics. Now, I just gotta put together a pile of ammo to warm it up.

I know. I just realized that. If you notice, I changed the photo. Your eye was much better than mine. I just took a photo off Google images. Well, all is right with the world now.
