I have MeproLights on my Kimber and had them on my Glock, never had any issues and they glow plenty bright.. Had always herd after shooting at night they wouldn't be visible due the muzzle flash, I personally have found this untrue for me at least, even after several rounds.

You can't go wrong with Trijicon. I have a pair on my Kimber 1911 and they are awesome. Meprolights are good too, but I would pick Trijicon over them. I would not recommend TruGlo at all.
