Stop fighting guys.. it's only a gun. Honestly I had my heart set on a Nighthawk (you can see the mag in the gun is from Nighthawk..) But my buddy needed quick help for a fleeting AR deal. Plus I used the left over cash to buy 2K rounds of ammo.

Anyways, I know this Kimber works so thats good. As far as inferior, cast internal parts wearing down the road - i'll deal with that should issues arise. One thing I do know.. I'm not selling any of my guns in this current climate. Keeping all my stuff! From here on the Gunsmith is going to be my new friend for any nervous gun energy. Anything, with the exception of things blowing up can be fixed.

Sheeesh! Even Kimber hasn't given me a reason to "attack" them. So they haven't won me over yet, They haven't done anything to me.

Here we are under a real attack by the gun grabbers and we choose petty things like this to argue?

If you could find a price around $1800 I would go with this Kimber: http://www.kimberamerica.com/1911/custom-shop/classic-carry-pro

Sorry but for $1800 I could call CJ and get a Les Baer. And no Mimber has ever equaled anything he builds.

You do know that Kimber doesn't have a real custom shop, don't you?
