Default Video - Shooting the Star 9mm
This ia a neat 1911-ish pistol that you can find around the web for $200 or so.

Mine started life as an Israeli police handgun.

I like my Star Model B.

It's no 1911 but a fun gun to shoot.

I have a Star BKS, alloy frame and chrome slide in 9mm. Carried it for a long time. Nice light carry gun. I did break the firing pin and had one made and hardened, never had any issue with it. Some were reporting cracks in the alloy frame, but I would estimate that I have over 5000 rounds through it and have seen neither cracks or other extraordinary wear.

I got them a couple of years ago from The Gun Grip Guys in MI.

I think they went out of business,
