Default Very Cool 1911 Knife

I've seen knives that use 1911 grips, but nine quite like this.

All I can find on it was he made ten earlier this year, and all were being auctioned off by the NRA as fundraisers.

Interesting concept.

The only question I would have is how strong is it really? I mean usually on a quality knife the blade is one piece of steel that goes all the way to the but of the knife. I would like to see it taken apart, but I guess I am wierd.

Still interesting though.

Since they only made ten, I think they're more of the 'purty' category than the 'functional utility' category. Would I want one? YES!!! Would I trust it? For anything beyond opening an envelope, no.

Not in for production yet. And they are pretty dang expensive. But when production line comes trhough with an affordable price I would snag one to commemorate. Rumor has it that it will soon, Besides the 10 beta work auctioned for NRA.
