Do you mean lacquer and not polymer? The lacquer issue is actually an old one, that problem has been pretty much remedied by the manufacturers. But like anything on the internet, issues never die they just get forwarded.

If your gun is still under warranty check your owners manual. The owners manual for my Ruger P95 clearly states the use of steel cased ammo voids the warranty. Moreover, I can get aguila ammo for about the same price as wolf ammo. I am very pleased with the results I get from aguila ammo. 124 gr aguila ammo is what I shoot for self defense. I can afford to practice with my SD ammo. That has to be a confidence booster for any shooter.
