I know a guy who wants to trade my Glock 17 w/ 4 mags for his S&W 1911
model 108285 w/ 2 mags plus $75. It is great condition with 250 rds down the tube. My glock has about 50 rds throught it. Give me some opinions on this. |

Anytime you can dump plastic and get a 1911, it's a good day.
I would say it sounds like a fair deal except for the $75. Give $25 because he's getting more mag that hold more ammo....

In two seconds flat I make this trade. I'd buy a new Glock just to make this trade. A S&W is a fine 1911. I've never seen a used S&W 1911 for less than $650 - which is what I paid for this one...

I'd make that trade in a heartbeat! You'll get a much better weapon than the Glock. __________________ Now hatred is by far the longest pleasure;

Be sure to have him test fire it though, with you watching to make sure it works. __________________ "This is not about land or money...but the one thing that no man should never be able to take from another man: the freedom to make his own choices about his life, where he'll live, how he'll live, how he'll raise his family. Not sure he will listen to you since this was from last August. Great Advice. Maybe he will post to let us know if he went through with the trade. |

If you don't take this deal, you should quit your job and move into an assisted living facility for the mentally impaired. __________________
