It's a lot of fun to shoot and cheaper to reload than the 45.

Am I crazy for considering this?
Hey man whatever makes you happy. I don't yet own any 1911s but I will someday. Maybe my wife would wanna get in on the raffle... Could you sell to Kalifornia?! Lol.

Out of curiosity, what 1911s do you have?

I hope she doesn't read this. Y'all hurry up and post, bury this comment.
You done married the right gal if she's asking for a 1911. Good work bro !! Haha

I currently have 6 1911's. 3 are 45 ACP and the other 3 are 9mm. I have no plans on selling my .45's.

As for the 10mm? Nice powerful round, but a little too much recoil IMO if you want to shoot more than 50 rounds at a time.....

I don't think so.
My C-BOB in 10mm is a pleasure to shoot.
But it took a lot of research to get all springs corrected (and I do not use any "frame saver" buffer pads.)

I'm still waiting to hear make from the forum admins about doing a forum-sponsored raffle for one of my guns.

Sure, I make 1911 grips. Been doing it for almost 7 years now and the number sold is getting closer to 900 ever day. www.brownscustomgrips.com

Only shoot 50 rounds at a time with 10mm? Not a chance. As long as the gun is sprung right, it's a blast to shoot. I can hit a 12" metal gong at 100 yards from a rest almost every time now.

Well it doesn't look like we'll be doing a forum-sponsored raffle. To many legal concerns. I'll just have to sell them myself.

You should at least keep your favorite .45. Come on its what the gun was designed around. It's as American as apple pie.
