Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

I'd stand in line to buy any PI produced 1911 before I'd take a Taurus for free!

RAI CS will bend over backwards to help it's customers! I like that in a mfg.

shoot safe, shoot straight, and have fun
If I were "Raciest" (WTF?), I probably wouldn't be recommending a Philippine built pistol (ARMSCOR.)
"Leader in MIM technology"
ROFLMAO. You're just pulling our chains...right? MIM processes may produce passable parts, but excellent or great is certainly open for debate.
Taurus 1911s like other taurus products, are luck of the draw. One may be stunning in it's brilliance, the very next one can be a large turd. Thats the problem. To be fair, I hear that the PT 1911 & the PT92 are the best of a bad litter,
I'm lucky Taurus owner, mine continues to work. I don't plan on pushing my luck further. It's actually a shame too. I would really like to buy a Taurus 992. Taurus is a company with a potential for greatness that is let down by their crappy quality control & spotty CS. If they ever get the excrement cohesive they will be great. But not yet.
