No conversions from 9mm to .45. It would be cheaper to just buy a RIA in .45.

Lots of Taurus haters on the interwebs. I've had one for a long time and never bad any problems. You get a lot of features and a good gun for an affordable price.

I like my PT 1911 no problems. A 1911 in any caliber but 45 acp is sacrilege.

I have one, and it has been an amazing pistol. It is not my colt, but it is a great firearm. Also has many features others do not.

I have one and its a excellent pistol and doesn't rattle like a Colt. Don't hesitate to buy one, its a well built 1911 for the money.

I've had one for almost a year, absolutely love it, fires every time, isn't picky with ammo, and is accurate. Not much more you could ask for. Incidentally I have a holster for sale for the railed version.

I have the PT1911 stainless. I like it a lot. I don't love guns, I love people. But my Taurus 1911 does me fine. I only have about 2000 trouble free rounds through it though.
