Hopefully this works. My new Sig 1911 C3 with my older Taurus 1911. The Taurus was my "toe in the water" for 1911s.

I was looking at the C3, almost bought an RCS when my 4" Kimber CDP started acting up. But, I'm glad I waited for my Kimber to come back from them, they did a great job tuning it and paid shipping both ways.

That being said I think you made the right choice. The lifetime warranty is good peace of mind.
