Star .45 PD value
I know it's not really a 1911 but it's the closest thing I have to one. My Dad recently gave this to me and I'm wondering how much it is worth in (almost) perfect condition, because that is basically the condition it is in. My Dad bought this off a cop who carried it on his ankle in 95. There are absolutely no imperfections on this gun at all and the inside is perfect as well. The only problem here is the feed ramp is scratched up a bit, probably from HP's. So can you guys tell me the value? It was made in 84.

I've seen a couple recently at about $300-$350. I like them a lot. In times like these, it's worth more in the drawer of your bedside table than you will ever be able to sell it for. Take care of it.

45 acp ammo is expensive but at least you can buy it at Walmart.

Here's a review of the 9mm version.

Not great guns, but I wouldn't pass one up for the sheer novelty factor.
