Default Springfield MC operator

So I ran across this Springfield Armory MC operator and snagged it up. I can't find much information on these and no real comparative prices or anything. Anyone know much about these ?

It is similar to a Loaded with a rail (in the "loaded" family with a few extras or upgrades)....

Options that are like the Loaded:
Ambi-safety
Low-profile Novak combat tritium 3-dot night sights
Front cocking serrations
Delta lightweight trigger
Trigger
High hand beavertail grip safety

Options that are different than the Loaded (or the "extras"):
Match barrel & bushing (like the RO and some NM framed Loaded models).
Pachmayer wraparound grips.
Accessory rail
Two-tone Amory Kote finish (frame is olive drab & slide is black)
GI-style recoil guide rod

It retails a good bit more than the standard Loaded's do though (because of the upgraded finish, accessory rail & other extras).
MSRP is $1387.00

I believe that those are the one that competed with the Colt Rail Gun, for the Marine Corps contact.

I did read somewhere that this gun was developed for a marine corps contract and the contract ended up going to the lowest bidder and Kimber was that bidder... Not sure if this is true or not.
