I surprised myself. I spent many sleepless nights lying awake asking myself, "Do I dare? Do I dare?" Finally, I worked up the courage to accurately report that my Springfield experiences frequent feed jams. Even though I experienced the heart-pounding rush of fear / excitement akin to facing a charging elephant, in the end I don't regret taking the chance.

Thanks for making that leap of faith. There are not too many souls in this world who could have possibly mustered the amount of courage that it must have taken to do what you have done.

You must be doing your own reloading.....

Default Springfield 1911 Loaded

My 1911 Loaded was purchased used years ago and has been trouble free every round fired except one. This 1911 was carried in Iraq and traded into my LGS. The round was a reload that when pushed into the case caused a swell. A friend gave the round to me to try out while we were shooting at the range. I also have an xd9 that fires flawlessly. SA makes a great pistol.

Thank you for your service to our country in Iraq!
My experience has been the same as yours. I have a park'd SA loaded model with approx. 2000 rounds through it. No issues whatsoever.
Excellent handgun.
