been the same way in the local gun stores!

everyone rushing out to buy what they haven't had before because now it may become illegal to own. then they have a question, and hit google. google leads them here, and they sign up to the forum...then they say dumb sh*t because they own a gun and know everything there is to know (they saw it on google)

anyway...back to your regularly scheduled thread

I like Kimbers. I bought a new Stainless model back in 02, had the trigger and safetys tweaked/tuned for competition, did some other metal work, added some other trick parts here and there, hit the slide with some sand paper, and what I have now is a handgun that I can drive nails with!

Kinda got quiet here all the sudden. I guess it's hard to get your thread back on track after you say Colt guns are made by High Standard.

I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

I'm still having trouble wrapping my mind around that one. And he claims to be a Smith? Never get my business.

I think they were on Brownells, but I don't remember exactly now, since it's been 10 years since I built that 1911
