My answer is there are a lot of great manufacturers of 1911's and unless your close enough to see the logo or read the name on the slide, they all pretty much look the same. Most are made from quality parts and assembled in a top quality factory. But if you want a 1911 that functions just a well as the others and is as accurate as the others but looks different, then I recommend Sig Sauer.
I just recently bought my first 1911, it's a Sig C3 two tone. I've ran 200 rds. Through it with no problems. Very impressed with the tight fit and extreme accuracy.....I'm in love
