In another very similar recent thread, someone said: "If you can afford a Kimber, you can afford a Colt." It's hard to argue with that.
I would add, while Kimber makes some nice looking guns, they have had some QC issues. My primary gripe w/ Kimber is their pathetic one year warranty.

Colt LW Combat Commander in stainless. If you look hard you can find them in the $800 or less range lightly used. I need to get better at not impulse buying all the time. Would make it easier to save my "gun money" for bigger purchases. Either that or sell a lot more holsters.

Corndork,they all bring something different to the table.I shoot pins best with my SA Rangeofficer,Bullseye winners are usually the Kimber Eclipse in 10mm,or the SA Longslide,and for just raising cain at the range ya gotta love the Kimber TLE 460 Rowland!
