Keep an eye on the "lefty" safety as they have a habit of coming loose or coming off. I've had 2 Taurii 1911s and one of them had the loose safety problem...

So far I love the thing, It came with Hogue wraparounds and 4 mags total for 425. Definatly a doable price. The first thing I had to do was give it a good cleaning it was filthy but it cleaned up nicely. As far as I can tell it is a well built gun. The fit it very good and it points very naturally. I can see now what all the 1911 fuss is about. This thing just "feels sweet". Now for some night sights and I think I'm all set. Anyone have any spare sights laying aroung they wanted to donate .

Thanx

Just an idea since you already spent some of your lunch money if you have some left just get phosphorescent stuff from glow-on.com and pimp that tool like this one here, plus you get to keep the original sights

After I open the shop this morning the Fed-X man showed up with firearms from distributors. In one of those boxes was a SAI Champion Operator Loaded from Springfield Armory with my name on it and a Springfield shirt. I'll be taking it home on Sunday at 10:02 AM CST, although, I did put a clip through it this afternoon. Boy 1911 are so sweet. I'm so glad, I'm so glad. I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad.

I do believe Jack Bruce did the vocals on that one.
I have a sweet SAI SS compact that needs some breaking in. Maybe I'll dig it out and throw some lead this weekend.

Nice, very nice!

Tell me how you like the short trigger? Every 1911 I get with the shorty I change out for the long trigger. Makes a big difference in my accuracy.

Now lets see that RR with some wadded up targets.

Oh and Mr. Cane????? That's my Dad and he passed 11 years ago, it's cane or as I like to say, Axe, Sam Axe.

apologies Axe, Sam Axe. actually, I've had this compact for over 10 years and haven't fired it in about that many. It's time to heat it up.

Unless you're undercover...then it's Chuck Finley.
