Sights for my new Kimber
Ok, so I had a quick trip to the range but no pictures just enough for 25 rounds down range with my new Kimber Ultra Carry II. I did notice that the standard sights are pretty shabby, so I'm thinking of getting some replacements. I'm thinking about a set of Truglo TFO Tritium/Fiber optic sights. Anybody have any experience with these? Any other suggestions?

My son had a Glock 19 with these sights and he (and I) really liked them. They were clear and bright in daylight and in the dark...

Trijicon makes a nice set of 2 color tritium night sights.
Heine Straight 8s are supposed to be good, if you can get used to the 2 dot setup. |

I found them on eBay. |

I do not really care for those night sights. Take your pistol and shoot it in very low light. Unless you have super eyes you will probably find that you can only see the sights and not the target. Now if you plan on always having a light they will work fine. But if not just get some high vis white dots. They will pick up any ambient light, and will not overpower your view of the target.
