If you don't want to shoot it I'll gladly test fire it for you.

Took it to the range today. It was a nice shooter. I'd say as nice as my Les Baer and as accurate. About 3" at 15 yds., which is about average for my 70 yr. old eyes in the lighting available at an indoor range. I think I'll keep it.

Congrats! I love mine. It gets to the range a few times a month. Here is mine. Mine is the full size, not the commander.

Well, I survived my surgery last week! I'm in recovery mode for 90 days. Doc says I can't shoot big bore guns for 90 days. The shock may disrupt the juncture of plates (4 of them) and bone and prevent the bone from fusing properly. It's kind of depressing just laying around. There is still some constant pain (not too bad) to deal with. I'll get over it.
I guess I'll just have to clean, polish and fondle my 1911's, especially the Spartan and moniter GTF.

Just glad you made it. Surgical procedures suck anyway you look at them,..I should know after 9 of them over 30 years. Too bad they didn't give you anything for the pain,..or clearly not enough. READ! Get the Missus to get you an iPad or Kindle!! My wife has had one for 2 Years, and I got mine last December at the APPLE store In Vegas. It's been with me the last two operations, In Jan. on My Foot & leg & April when I had a Minor Kidney Failure(if there is such a thing) which put me in the Verde Valley Medical Center (Hotel) for 3 days... Only bad thing was only 8 ch's on the TV, but at least I had ESPN...

Anyway, half My Magazines(reading) are on my iPad, as well as everything I can get my hands on by W.E.B.Griffin. You want to read a Good series? Start reading Griffin's "The Presidential Agent" series!!! They are up to book 6...

Thanks for the response. I do have a Nook and it gets used a lot. I do not like sports of any kind, except guns, and don't like anything but the Discovery channels, and I do like browsing this forum. It bears some resemblance to when I used to stand around on the street corner with my buddies trying to solve the problems of the world. We obviously didn't do much better then than we do now. We just know now from years of experience that it's futile.
My body looks like a train wreck from all the scars. I should have took care of myself. What's that old cliche about 20/20 hind site.
