My wife is seriously considering an intervention, she thinks I need to go to a 1911 rehab facility. Just bought my eleventh 1911 (going for an even dozen), my second Sig 1911, a STX Custom. Nitron® slide over a Natural Stainless frame and is accented by custom wood grips. The slide is topped off with adjustable combat night sights while the frame is outfitted with a magwell. Both the frame and slide are de-horned for comfortable full-size carry.

I actually made a run at a Sig Tac Ops 1911 yesterday with a fella I trade with quite often. We came close to a deal but no joy for now...

Keep working on him...it's a great gun. Identical to the "Black Water" without the logo.

Hey dave, the lanyard cut out..is that in the frame itself or the housing? In other words, would it be possible to switch out the housing so the lanyard loop is no longer there?

It was in the housing and I swapped it out as soon as I got it home...

Thanks, that seems like the biggest issue I would have from what you are reporting. I may have to go pick one up and give it a whirl.
