Just my opinion, but you did ask......I do not like 1911's with rails, it takes away from what the 1911 is all about, along with the external extractor. |

I definitely understand that. The Sig style slide had started to grow on me but I didn't like it at first either. As for the rail I want to put a Streamlight on there eventually. Thanks for your input :-) any others?? |

I've shot one of Sig's 1911's, which I think was either the XO Black or the Nitron, and I really wish I had one. In my opinion Sig's 1911's are undermarketed, because not many people I know either consider their 1911's or even know they make one. I'm not particularly fond of the external extractor since I'm more of a traditionalist, but that's the only thing I do not like about them. They seem very very high quality and just an all around superb firearm. __________________ "It's a gun you loaded on Sunday, and shot all week."

If that's what you like then roll with it. I have 2 Sigs and have no complaints. The finishes are great on them. |

As a Sig 1911 owner. No complaints. 1000 rounds-no problems. No break in period either. For the money-no 1911 manufacturer comes close to the features that Sig offers in their price point. Here's my STX __________________ GOFFA Council Member

I bet it's a fine weapon. Yes, we require pics. __________________ I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy - but that could change.
