Shooting Kimber's Super Carry Pro 1911

I carry a trio of 1911 pistols in a variety of barrel lengths depending on how I'm dressed on a particular day. My most carried 1911 is Kimber's Super Carry Pro.

This is a 4-inch barreled, Commander sized 1911 pistol with a rounded mainspring housing for improved concealability. In this video I had a snow day enjoying some shooting with this pistol.

That is on my "Next to buy" list. Beautiful gun, period, I'm going after the HD in black steel.

Great shooting Mike!

One question, what's all that white stuff on the ground. The sand down here doesn't get that white.

Mike, you ever get down to Ft. Lauderdale? http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2ea3989e.gif

Today is the reason we move to South Florida.........79/58% and not a cloud in the sky!

Work a Florida trip in your schedule and old canebrake will take you SSS. (Shooting Southern Style!)*

* None of that white http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/...icons/poop.gif on the ground down here!

Mine is a pro carry 2 but doesn't weight much and fits in my purse perfect and I have long fingers so the grips are just right for me.
I like it.

Even after buying my own, I could look at this picture all day. Not really sure what that says about me...

Did Canebrake come on the gun or did you have that customized?
I like the short barrel too. Do you think they can cut my barrel down like yours and about what did they charge to cut yours down?
And last but not least, you're not going to drink that, are you?

  1. I had http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1d7eaf47.jpg laser etched in the dust cover.
  2. It would be easier, and cheaper to just buy a 3" mouse 1911.
  3. The Colt Defender comes as a 3" Bull Barrel.
  4. That Bourbon has long passed these 'ole lips!

^ Best .45 ACP mouse 1911! (Doesn't require a bobbie-pin to take it down.)
