I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

Default Series 70 gold cup

Got a lead on a series 70 gold cup national match, blue, guy claims its 90 percent.

First, I didn't know there was a "national match", does this sound legit?

They want $995 for it, good price or not?

I told him I should have money in hand in about a month, he said they have a high turnover rate, but if they don't have it then they will likely have something similar, likely another gold cup, said they rotate through them rather regularly.

Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

Yes, it's Model O5870, official designation "Gold Cup National Match MK IV." Manufactured from 1970 to 1982, when the Series 80 was introduced. It should have a collet barrel bushing.
