DefaultSarge's new beautiful beast is here! (pic heavy)

My new custom Fusion bobtailed commander arrived Saturday. Bob at Fusions did a great job of taking all of my requests and ideas on how I wanted this weapon to be and making them a reality. IonDLC finish on everything that's not stainless in the pics including the outside of the barrel. They gave the barrel a slight polish which makes it stand out in the flat matte finish of the frame and slide. Night sights are yellow rear, and green front. Trigger breaks at 3.75 like a glass rod. Absolutely no overtravel. Tight as all get out with all hand fitted parts and assemblies. The guys at the gun store dang near drowned me with all the drooling going on over it when I picked it up. Was swamped with orders in the shop, so I haven't yet taken time to get her to the range, but I hope to put at least 100 or so through her today at some point. If you're in the market for a custom weapon built the way YOU want it, Fusion is definitely worth looking at. Top notch quality and class all the way.

It's incredible how the basic workhorse pistol can be transformed into fine art at the hands of skilled artisans.

That's the first bobtail that I've seen that looks good. Hope it shoots as nicely as it looks. It's an absolutely beautiful piece.

It's a two piece full length stainless steel that I had treated with the IonDLC like the rest of the non bright parts.
Night sights are yellow rear and green front.
I trying to figure out right now how I can skip out of the office long enough to send some lead downrange with her.

I'm thinking about a set of Trijicon yellow/green sights. Have you used them in low light? How do you like them?
