I got my SS model for about $100 less than that. Not a bad price but not a great price.

I have the same exact model as this & purchased it new in 2011 for $799
Maybe the price for a new one has gone up slightly - but really that is about what you can get a new one for.
$700 or $750 would be good price for a used one.

That seems pretty high. I just bought a springer loaded with 4 wilson combat mags and 100 rounds for $660. The thing looks and works great. He said it only had 14 rounds rhrough it and I believe him. There are better deals to be had than $800 for used. I'd offer $700 at the most. You can find new for $800-$900 idk about you but I'm not paying full price for a used gun.

here is a link with the specs and the current MSRP.

$800 isn't too far off in price for a lightly used one. $700 would be better though.

A savage fcp-sr in .308, havnt shot it yet but it is meant to be a solid rifle, currently glass hunting, the loaded would have been far cheaper in the long run lol, I went frpm upgrading my 1911 to neck deep in a long range shooting project, dammit..
