Default SA 1911 mil-spec on gunbroker

I'm just curious, has anyone bought guns from gunbroker.com
I was browsing and saw a nice SA 1911 mil-spec for $160 bid and buyout was like 800ish...my concern is if the site is reputable and stuff.

The site itself is plenty reputable. However, the sellers just use the auction service. Take a good look at the seller's feedback. That will tell you if you should deal with them or not. Good luck on your purchase.

I haven't used it myself, but it is very similar to Ebay in what was mentioned about the seller's using the service.

I've used ebay, and had a paypal account when I was using it. My paypal account was hacked, and someone got all my checking account information and completely wiped me out. They took everything and managed to also get into my savings account with the same bank. I got it all back, but I've never again used any type of thing like that. The only thing I pay online is my electric bill, 1. because they charge me a service fee of 15 bucks to send a check or money order, and 2. because I don't get the bill until about 5 days before it's due and I don't want a late payment fee. They also have pretty good security.

Sorry, I kind of went off on a rant about paypal, and that has nothing to do with either Gunbroker or Ebay.

Well I didn't tell them I have guns...

But yeah, there is a service fee and all that. We have no need to give money to Anti 2A folks.

Thanks, I didn't know that about them.
