I wanna get one someday & they come in add kinds of cool color configurations seem like they are really trying to go after the govt/contractors eyes to be their side arms. Then again they already are

I paid around $900 for that Scorpion, maybe a little more. I would have to dig my receipt out to be accurate.

Getting out, don't blame ya one bit. I did a little active time years ago in a branch we won't mention and then just joined the Guard afterwards, retired from it. It gets a bad rap but I really enjoyed the last few years. Had a good group of fellow NCOs and decent leadership. Good thing about it though, when something went tits up, they actually listened when we spoke.

I work for the railroad, but use my military discount at GTs. What's your plan after the service?

When I say getting out that's actually involuntary medical separation or retirement don't know which one yet still waiting for my percentage rating... I wanted to do 20+ when I came in but I guess Fate, God; had something else in mind for me... I came into the military a bit late into life (went to a Marine recruiter on 4sep2001 & was told "you have to be a permanent resident to serve" so I left)I was a auto technician (shop foremen @ Acura to be more specific)before getting gun-ho and going infantry ... Was too old to be a Marine (that's what the Recruiter said anyway). Once I became a "green card holder" gave up everything to fulfill what I said I would do standing in front of the twin towers on 9/11 & here I am finding out "I fell behind so far on technology" that I'd have to start back at the bottom in the auto industry... So not sure what I'm gonna do... School is going to be hard with a "squad size"family... There I let that out finally...

I worked for a Caterpillar dealer for years. Deployed twice, which is a very small number compared to what other guys did, and was medically barred from my third one. I was at my mob station doing my medical screen and they found a issue, sent me to a civilian Dr for clarification and 24 hours later I was in a van headed home. It's sucked bad man, real bad. After I got home, had my surgery and tried to go back to my civilian job I was laid off. After a month or two I applied at the railroad and here I am. You should check one out. It's a great job with good benefits and a really good retirement. Seems they love vets too.

Tried to place on on lay-a-way at the LGS. They didnt give me an ETA and that was 4 months ago. Needless to say I go my money back and put it down on a CZ P01 SDP on ready in the case.
